Our English Shepherds

English Shepherds and a little background about the breed. These wonderful dogs have also been known as the traditional farm collie and although are sometimes hard to find have been around for many years. They are a UKC breed. Very affectionate and loyal. They are great with children, cats and kittens, rabbits, chickens and horses. They are the perfect companion dog, working out of the desire to please you. They are not prey driven and do not require formal kenneling. They are VERY biddable and stay by your side wherever you go. ES instincts have been preserved so that they are 'thinking' dogs that love to enforce the farm rules and will put stock back where they belong if they escape, watch your back while you do chores, watch your children, nuture newborn stock and watch over them and lay at your feet while you rest(or under the bed as Breeze and Juke...pity the poor fool that breaks into my room). ES eradicate varmints, protect against predators and make wonderful family companions. They tend to set up their own property perimeters and may take a notion to watch the neighbors house as well as your own. JUNE 22, 2013 UPDATES We are a month old and have found that we can get into all sorts of mischief alone or together. We love to play fight and can make the humans come running

to see if there needs to be intervention. We have to stay away from the Rat Terrier as she gives us a quick bite on the nose if we venture to closely. What we do well is eat and sleep.

We have been getting to go outside a bit everyday and learning about new things.
